Walmart Pet Care Services: Final Thoughts

Walmart's move to expand its pet care services reflects the retailer's strategy to capture a larger share of the rapidly growing pet care market. With U.S. pet ownership on the rise – two thirds of households now own a pet – consumer spending in this category is expected to soar, with veterinary services seeing particularly strong growth. Walmart is responding to these trends by offering accessible, affordable pet services in more locations and introducing virtual care options.
