The Most Used Shipping Service Providers by Online Stores in the Netherlands

PostNL emerges as the most prominent shipping service provider in the Netherlands. A significant 53% of the surveyed Dutch online stores make use of their services. Self-collection or click & collect options also stand out as a popular alternative (37%).
DHL secures a substantial share with 33%, closely followed by DPD with 16%. While UPS (United Parcel Service) and GLS capture a 14% and 7% share respectively.
Meanwhile, Bpost is the least popular option, with a usage share of 4%. Our analysis is based on 530 Dutch online shops for which shipping information is available and known. These online shops may use more than one shipping service provider.
